Last year, React Native conducted user interviews and a survey to gather feedback on how people use their documentation. With insights from 24 interviews and over 3000 survey responses, React Native has made significant improvements to their documentation. They have introduced new Getting Started guides, including explanations of Native Components for those with no mobile development background and an introduction to React for beginners. They have also collaborated with experts to create new illustrated testing and security guides. The documentation now includes fancy new illustrations and has moved to its own domain, making it more accessible to users. The site design and architecture have been updated to categorize guides better and improve the readability of the API reference. Core Component and API docs have been fully updated with contributions from various participants. React Native plans to continue improving their documentation and is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by creating additional content. They also encourage users to contribute by reporting issues, participating in surveys, and writing for them. Read the full article at the original source.
