Helping migrate React Native libraries to the New Architecture · React Native

by TM

The React Native team is working on improving resources to support the React Native New Architecture. They have released two repositories, RNNewArchitectureApp and RNNewArchitectureLibraries, to help with app and library migration. They are also updating the New Architecture guide on the website and have created a GitHub Working Group for questions and discussions related to the New Architecture. The team is expanding the documentation, including guides on creating TurboModules and understanding CodeGen. They also plan to share updates by the 0.70 release. The post provides details on the example repositories and the current migration status of popular React Native libraries. The team will continue to provide support, examples, documentation, and track library migrations to simplify the migration path for developers. React Native 0.69 will also have improved development experience for New Architecture adoption.
